Your Calendar is an easy and powerful way to add informational content to your website. Here are some ideas to help you make your Calendar more comprehensive about what is going on in the community.


Ideas:

  • Meetings Include board and committee meetings.

  • Class Maybe your community or neighborhood has classes like yoga, pottery, or computer help?

  • Construction/Maintenance Make sure your users are aware of maintenance or construction projects that might effect them, like road construction or water shutoffs. These events may also be city run projects that effect your community.

  • Elevator Can people reserve the elevator? Good idea to mark reservations so they know when an elevator won't be available.

  • Community Event Is there something going on in your community, like a movie or casino night?

  • Holidays If the office will be closed due to a holiday, it is a good idea to create a Calendar Event.

  • Reserved Can people reserve a community space like a clubhouse? Good idea to mark reservations so that other residents will know the space is not available.

  • Sports Tennis anyone? How about a poker tournament? Maybe your community is close to a sporting venue or stadium that effects neighborhood traffic.

  • Social It' 5-o'clock somewhere; help neighbors know when the social gatherings are scheduled.

  • Town Event Maybe there is an event going on in town that is of interest to neighbors or may impact traffic.
